Water provides the common thread of the work Tangenziale Esterna SpA is to implement under the “Muzza-Villambrera” Special Environmental Project. The SEP calls for building a new cycle/pedestrian path linking various points of natural interest in the municipalities of Paullo and Zelo Buon Persico.

From the centre of Paullo, the paths will provide sustainable mobility access to Cascina Villambrera, the wetland nature reserves along the Muzza, the lake at the power station between Zelo Buon Persico and Muzzano, and Villa Pompeiana, which offers access to Sites of Community Importance (SCIs) at “Oasi Bosco del Mortone”, “Oasi Garzaia del Mortone”, and part of the Parco Adda Sud.
